Benoit De Clerck is a young Flemish filmmaker who graduated in 2011 at the Ritcs. In 2012, he won the Jury Prize at the International Short Film Festival Leuven with his film ‘The Importance of Sweet & Salt’. His next film ‘De Honger’ (2013) was internationally awarded.

The films of Benoit are characterised by dark humor and surrealist elements. All of them are made with a stronge eye for highly stylized images.
